How to switch property in the app and on the web

AppWebWorks offline

Each property has its own animals, schedule, inventory and alerts. Switching property changes what you see and where records are stored.

Before you start

  • To work offline, the property must have been synced at least once on the phone.
  • Veterinarians, interns and administrators have access to all of the organization's properties.

In the app

  1. On any main screen (Today, Animals, Schedule or More), tap the three-line icon in the top left corner.
  2. In the side menu, tap Switch Property.
  3. On the Select the Property screen, tap the property's card.
  4. If the list is long, use Search property....

Select the Property screen in the app, with the search and the property cards

The app returns to the Today screen, already on the chosen property.

On the web

  1. At the top of the screen, click Switch property.

  1. On the Where are you working today? screen, click Enter this property on the property card.
  2. The property you are already on shows Continue here. To go back without switching, click Back to the dashboard.

The Switch property button appears on wide screens. On a phone, use the app.

Overview of all properties

With more than one property, the selection screen shows, above the list, the Farm overview: animals, today's agenda, overdue tasks, alerts, pregnant mares, critical stock and overdue bills across all properties (what your profile can see). Each card shows its property's summary and next task. Tap a number to open the property with the most items of that kind, on the right screen. On the web, the Properties button at the top opens this view at any time.

Common problems

"Select a property to see..." appears in a menu. No property is selected. Switch property as shown above and open the menu again.

The list shows "You haven't added any property yet." Your account has no property yet (an independent veterinarian can finish the setup and add the first one later). Tap Add new property in the app or Register property on the web. If you can't add properties, ask the administrator to register the property or give you access. If you expected to see properties, check the internet: on the first sign-in, the app fetches the list before showing the screen.

I can't find an animal I know exists. It may be on another property. Switch property and search again.
