How to track your team's access
The access report shows who on your team used GENNO, when and from where. Use it to check each person's use, spot an odd access and decide when to deactivate an account.
Before you start
- The report is for people with the audit permission (the Administrator, in the default profile).
- It is on the web. Use through the app also shows up.
- Records are kept for 12 months.
Open the report
- At web.genno.app, click Settings in the menu and Team and access › Team access.
- Choose the period in From and To, or use 7 days, 30 days or 90 days.
- If you like, filter by Person, Property and Source (web or app).
At the top you see the people with access in the period, the sign-ins, the failed attempts and the alerts.
By person
The By person tab shows, for each person on the team:
- the last access and the days with access in the period;
- the sign-ins and the failures (wrong password or second factor);
- the devices used (for example, "Chrome · Windows" or "App GENNO · Android");
- the properties they worked on and on how many days.
The sign-out button at the end of the row ends the person's sessions on every device. They need to sign in again. It only shows for people who can also edit users.
Alerts
- New device: the person signed in from a device they had never used.
- Failed attempts: 5 failed sign-ins in less than an hour.
- Idle account: the person has not signed in for 30 days or never did. Consider deactivating the account if they are no longer on the team.
Timeline and use by property
- Timeline: each sign-in, sign-out, failure and password change, with date and time, source, device and IP. Tick Failures only or Outside working hours (choose the hours) to find what matters.
- By property: one square per day for each property; the darker, the more use (views and changes).
Download
Click CSV or Excel at the top to download the period's access records with the chosen filters.
Common problems
I don't see Team access in Settings. It only shows for people with the audit permission.
A property doesn't show in the use. Use by property counts from the new version of the web and the app. People on an old app show in the sign-ins, but not in the use by property, until they update.
